A full-size house with 3 bedrooms and 2 full-size bathrooms, Acadia Memories vacation cottage provides comfortable in-town accommodations for 6 guests (the sofa-bed in the family room can accommodate an additional 2 guests - please make arrangements with the rental agent).
The cottage is located on a safe and quiet side street nestled among Bar Harbor resident homes. It is convenient to all that the town and park have to offer...anywhere in Bar Harbor is just a short stroll from the house and access to Acadia National Park is only minutes away.
After a long day of shopping in town, or your adventures in Acadia National Park, or exploring Mount Desert Island, return to Acadia Memories vacation cottage for a quiet relaxing evening with all the comforts of home.
First floor of house:
- Large family room
- Large airy eat-in cottage kitchen
- Office nook
- Living room
- Laundry area--just off the kitchen (with a full-size washer and a full-size dryer)
- Bathroom with an oversized tiled shower
- A covered front porch
- A deck on the sunny, south-side of house, right off the kitchen, with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating
Second floor of house:
- Master bedroom with a king sized bed
- Second bedroom with a queen sized bed
- Third bedroom with two twin beds
- Bathroom with a restored antique claw foot tub/shower and skylight
Staying at Acadia Memories vacation cottage means you can leave your car parked in the driveway and walk to the nearby village shops and restaurants.
You'll never have to sit in lines of vacation traffic or circle a block searching for a scarce parking space!

- Four TVs:
- 55" TV with DVD/VCR in the family room
- 43" TV with DVD/VCR in the master bedroom
- 19" TV in the second bedroom
- 15" TV in the kitchen
- Cable TV service
- High speed Internet service with both Wireless-5GHz and Ethernet cable connections
- All kitchen, bathroom and bedroom linens (please bring beach towels and a picnic blanket for Sand Beach or other park outings)
- Whole house fan and portable room fans for cooling
- Plenty of off-street parking in the house driveway
For Your Safety:
- There are 6 smoke detectors in the house (each bedroom, the upstairs hallway, the laundry area, and the family room)
- There are 2 carbon monoxide detectors in the house (upstairs hallway and the family room)
- There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen
- The house has been inspected and licensed by the Town of Bar Harbor, Maine
Pets:
- Sorry, we love our English Setter but pets are not permitted at the house--pet boarding is available at: Acadia Woods Kennel
Please, no smoking in the house. For every guest's safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted in Acadia Memories vacation cottage.
