A full-size house with 3 bedrooms and 2 full-size bathrooms, Acadia Memories vacation cottage provides comfortable in-town accommodations for 6 guests (a sofa-bed in the family room can accommodate an additional 2 guests - arrangements must be made with the rental agent before your stay).
The cottage is located on a tree-lined side street between Cottage and West Streets. It is convenient to all that the town and park have to offer...anywhere in Bar Harbor is just a short stroll from the house and access to Acadia National Park is only minutes away. The grocery store is within walking distance, as is the post office and library.
After a long day of shopping in town, adventures in Acadia National Park, or exploring Mount Desert Island, return to Acadia Memories vacation cottage for a quiet, restful evening with all the comforts of home.
First floor of house:
- Large family/game room
- Large airy eat-in cottage kitchen
- Office nook
- Living room
- Laundry area--steps from the kitchen (with full-size washer and full-size dryer)
- Bathroom with an oversized, tiled shower
- A double-decker covered front porch
- A deck on the sunny, south-side of house, with a nearby gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating
Second floor of house:
- Master bedroom (King Room) with king-size bed and access to the second-floor of the double-decker covered front porch
- Second bedroom (Queen Room) with queen-size bed
- Third bedroom (Twin Room) with two twin beds
- Bathroom with a soaking tub and separate tiled shower
Staying at Acadia Memories vacation cottage means you can leave your car parked in the driveway and walk to the nearby village shops and restaurants.
You will never have to sit in lines of vacation traffic, circling blocks searching for a scarce metered-parking space!
Amenities of the house, include:
- 55" TV in the family room
- 43" TV in the King Room (master bedroom)
- 19" TV in the Queen Room (second bedroom)
- 15" TV in the kitchen
For Your Safety:
- There are 6 smoke detectors in the house (each bedroom, the upstairs hall, the kitchen-laundry hall, and the family room)
- There are 2 carbon monoxide detectors in the house (upstairs hall and the family room)
- There are 2 fire extinguishers (located in the kitchen and upstairs hall)
- The house is inspected and licensed by the Town of Bar Harbor, Maine
Pets:
- Sorry, pets are not permitted at the house--please ask the rental agent for pet boarding options
Please, no smoking on the premises. For every guest's health, safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted on Acadia Memories property.
